Dina has a unique and fascinating style of coaching. I call her an “Executive Coach with a mind of her own.” A true profession and subject-matter expert who would never be found wanting in this area. A passionate coach with a self-imposed burden of making great leaders. I was moved by her discipline and knowledge of most leadership concepts and precepts throughout my coaching sessions.
As young leader in my organisation who just got promoted into an Executive role, I faced countless challenges that were presented by my new role. My stress levels were high and everyday was a struggle for survival and I was on a verge of breaking down but I always presented a brave face in the midst of the adversity. Dina managed to empower me with all necessary tools to help me overcome most the challenges through her practical and thought provoking coaching style. The style of coaching that is bound to:
Help you discover yourself and your true potential;
Resurrect or discover your passion in life (i.e. all the things that drive you in life) ;
Build the “Yes, I can” attitude;
Challenge you to face your worst fears in life and believe that you are a victor; and
Remind you that integrity affects everything you do in life (If you do not believe it then just do an introspection of yourself)
Today I am a better leader. I have rediscovered my passion in life and lead a very balanced life. I certainly enjoyed having her as my coach and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any leader out there who needs a coach. Fortunately, leadership skills require daily refinement hence my ongoing relationship with my coach, Dina. I dare you to take a journey with her and see if you will not have a testimony to tell.

I was offered the opportunity to enrol in a coaching program at Sanlam Capital Markets in 2013. Taking my career seriously, I grabbed the opportunity with both hands. My initial overall goal was to build confidence in the credit space and eventually master whatever was required to manage the credit department that became part of my responsibilities in August 2013 following the resignation of the previous head of credit.
The starting aim was achieved within a short time period with the help and focus provided by my coach. Soon we had to find a more ambitious goal and our coaching focus shifted towards overall projection of energy and “softer” yet more far-reaching issues. This put the coaching experience on an entirely different trajectory. Rather than chasing small tangible goals, we were soon discussing much larger intangible principles, which helped enormously in focussing my energies on a broad scale in all aspects of my professional life.
If you are like me (not self centred and often putting the needs of others or the company as a whole above my own), not enough attention is given to what is important- to No 1. Coaching was an unbelievable aid in this regard. Regular feedback sessions meant that the required attention was given to the coaching efforts and what I needed to achieve through that. Our goal is currently to make sure that I progress to EXCO. Whether I make it to EXCO or not still has to be seen, but the coaching I received most certainly helped me in achieving all other goals set.

When I started coaching, I lacked energy and drive, focussing on irrelevant rather than positive aspects of my work and private life.
During the sessions with you however, I was able to dramatically change my overall approach to life in general, by harnessing certain unique techniques learned during my coaching sessions.
As a result of my renewed energy and drive, overall activity at work has improved and I have also recently been appointed to a very senior position in our industry.

I am sitting here, thinking how grateful I am for the changes I see in myself since I have started doing your process . I am stronger, more sure of myself, more focused and clear and — I can’t quite believe I am saying this, but it is so — more capable and productive! Your tough, but gentle questioning, has made me conscious of my limiting thinking, the ceilings I put up for myself and of the patterns of behaviour that don’t serve me. It is a challenge to live in integrity and to do the things I say — even if only to myself — that I will do. I am so excited about living the life of the person I want to be. I have even enrolled my son in my commitment. He really seems to get it. I have a strong suspicion that doing this work with you will positively impact both our lives.
What you do is pure gold, Dina. I am grateful for the privilege of being able to experience your gift. Thank you.
I look forward to the next session.
