This Retreat will re-introduce you to your kind and compassionate self through the healing power of nature and the African spirit of Ubuntu.

MEET OUR SPEC IAL GUEST SPEAKER: KHANYISILE MOTSA
(Winner of the 2022 Global Citizen Award)
Khanyisile Motsa, affectionately known as Mam’Khanyi, founded Home of Hope for Girls (HoH) in Johannesburg over 20 years ago after opening her home to young girls fleeing prostitution and trafficking.
HoH provides shelter for seventy-five girls and has helped thousands by working with the South African police and social services. Khanyisile lives the ethos that a girl’s background doesn't define her future and, given the chance, she can lead her community. She is a living, breathing example of Ubuntu. We will have the privilege of spending time with Mam, visiting Home of Hope, and learning how we can bring the principles of Ubuntu into our lives and our work. For more information on Mam and her organization, go to: Awards - Home of Hope for Girls |
