Where time is suspended...
And connection is everything!

IF YOU ARE READY TO EMBRACE POSITIVE CHANGE WITHIN YOURSELF
AND
BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD

THEN THIS RETREAT IS FOR YOU!

Be the change!
Take a sneak peek...

THE THEME OF THE RETEAT:

SAWUBONA-
a Zulu term that means, “I see you.” Not just your face, but your hopes, your dreams, where you came from and where you’re going.

UBUNTU LEADERSHIP-
an African Philosophy which literally means that a person is a person through other people.  Where the idea of community is one of the building blocks of society.
There is a saying that when we change our world within, the world magically responds differently to us.
At the  Sawubona Ubuntu Retreat, we believe in the magic of connectedness and connection.
This Retreat will re-introduce you to your kind and compassionate self through the healing power of nature and the African spirit of Ubuntu.

Together, we will co-create a more loving, caring and connected world!

MEET OUR SPEC IAL GUEST SPEAKER: KHANYISILE MOTSA
(Winner of the 2022 Global Citizen Award)

Picture
Khanyisile Motsa, affectionately known as Mam’Khanyi, founded Home of Hope for Girls (HoH) in Johannesburg over 20 years ago after opening her home to young girls fleeing prostitution and trafficking.

HoH provides shelter for seventy-five girls and has helped thousands by working with the South African police and social services.

Khanyisile lives the ethos that a girl’s background doesn't define her future and, given the chance, she can lead her community.

She is a living, breathing example of Ubuntu.

We will have the privilege of spending time with Mam, visiting Home of Hope, and learning how we can bring the principles of Ubuntu into our lives and our work.
