About Ignite Teams...
A unique and cost effective way to create real, sustainable, positive change in your organization through regular, ongoing training/group coaching sessions aimed at organizational, team and individual transformation.
Your people are your biggest assets and that is why it makes good business sense to invest in their development. However, many businesses put a lot of money into soft skills training or leadership development only to get luke warm results.
Over many years of being a soft skills facilitator as well as a coach, Dina Cramer has seen that the benefits of soft skills workshops are multiplied when combined with coaching.
Implementing change requires hard work and dedication. Often delegates come away from soft skills workshops feeling inspired to implement the information and skills they have learnt, yet they quickly fall back into old, counterproductive habits and ways of coping and relating because it is easier and familiar. Implementing a coaching programme helps to entrench and cement the soft skills because the coach supports and motivates employees over a period of time to reach their goals and perform at their peak. This brings about real, long term, and sustained change and improvement.
Thomas Crane, author of “The Heart of Coaching” talks about creating a performance enhancing culture in organisations which among things includes soft skills workshops and coaching. He cites the following research statistics:
Organizations that have a performance enhancing culture had a nett income growth of 756% vs 1% for organizations without a performance enhancing culture. Their stock price grew 901% vs 74% for their counterparts.
These statistics clearly show that success lies in creating a performance enhancing culture.
Ignite Excellence is a cutting edge product that brings soft skills training and coaching together in a way that makes change in organizations sustainable and ongoing as well as very cost effective.
It consists of regular, ongoing group/ team coaching and training sessions throughout the year.
The way it works:
1. Dina Cramer, together with your input will formulate a development programme specifically around your business or team needs.
2. She will then conduct monthly or fortnightly training sessions which incorporate a strong element of coaching.
3. These regular sessions and follow ups will ensure that the desired changes are being tracked and reinforced.
In this way, the knowledge gained in the workshops will be put into a practical action plan and followed up and built upon as each session progresses. This in turn will lead to real, sustainable development and change, while also playing a strong team building role.

The beginnings of coaching come from the world of sport...
No serious sportsperson would expect to reach national or international levels without a coach but their coach can't do all the training, hard work and competing for them. Instead, the coach's role is to help unlock the athlete’s potential, reinforce strengths and counteract any negative beliefs, all with the aim of maximizing performance.
Why should it be different for the rest of us?
That's why many people are turning to personal and executive coaching where the fundamental principles and techniques of sports coaching have been adapted to cater for executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and people in the midst of growth and change. Typically, a coach will work in partnership with the client to improve and enhance all areas of his life, business or career. They will work with the client to define where he wants to go and help him develop strategies for how to get there whether, it's about health, finance, relationships, career, work/life balance or business performance.
Coaching is based on the fundamental belief that people have within them all the resources they need to achieve the things they truly desire. With the stresses and strains of today’s modern day life, often the way forward becomes foggy and unclear. A coach's role is to use effective questioning techniques to help guide the client through the fog, bringing clarity and purpose back into his life. Regular coaching sessions keep him on track and are a powerful means for implementing changes much faster than going it alone.
Who are the clients?
Most of the people who use coaches are high achievers and/or people who want to get the best out of life. Typically they are unhappy and dissatisfied with some aspect of their life, business or career performance, and want to make changes that help them move forward. Often they have a friend or a colleague who has worked with a coach and been impressed by the results they have managed to achieve in a short space of time. Coaching works with people of all ages, backgrounds and areas of interest, and increasingly, employers are seeing the benefits of coaching for their managers and executives.
What Dina Cramer can offer you or your organization?
As a coach I believe in people’s greatness- the ability to be the best they can be.
My role is to assist people to perform at their peak. My coaching is not about teaching a job/ skill. It is about what it takes to be the best you can be.
Very often, despite having all the knowledge and the qualifications needed for a job people still do not perform at their peak. This is because there are other more subtle yet very powerful elements at play that they were not taught when learning their skill. These involve things like:
The attitude and consciousness with which we approach our lives;
My coaching will involve any and all of these elements depending on the client. My focus is on building personal power through the development of integrity and responsibility, passion and commitment.
For an organization, my coaching of individuals will involve measurable and significant improvements that can be translated into organizational productivity and success as well as knowledge transfer.
Investment and logistics
A coaching cycle generally involves 10 – 12 one hour sessions held weekly or bi-monthly. Coaching can be held at your offices, at my offices in Norwood, Johannesburg or via Skype.
